This is a gently-used Stipula 22 in Blueberry, with a 14k F rhodium-plated nib. As is visible, it’s a piston filler. It comes with original box and papers. $150

Kiyoshi Kato Celluloid Pen

This fountain pen was handmade by a Japanese gentleman, Kiyoshi Kato. Kato-san passed away in 2009. It is true celluloid wrapped around (so there is a visible seam). It is a cartridge/converter pen but I don’t believe I have a converter for it, and it comes with its original box. Aside from the unique celluloid, this is a pen with moderate fit and finish, similar to some of the early Visconti pens that Kato-san also made. $175

Sailor Aurora demonstrator, Pink

The Sailor Aurora is a demonstrator version of the 1911, and this one is in pink with a 14k Zoom nib. Lightly used, this one includes a converter but can also fill from a cartridge. Includes original box and papers. $150

Danitrio Raw Ebonite Butterfly

Raw ebonite, inlaid with silver and filled with color and shells. This was a very limited trial run of pens and only a handful were made.

One butterfly adorns the cap and three flowers grace the body. 18k “flexy” M nib writes more like a slightly dry Western fine; cartridge/converter filler; includes box and papers. $300

Stipula Comet Prototype

Based somewhat on the Duetto body, there's only a gentle transition from section to body rather than the more defined lines on some pens. Cartridge/converter filler, no converter included. This isn't marked Stipula, but it's pretty clearly their pen; there is a small "Made in Italy" engraved on the body. This is probably a short-run prototype. Unmarked steel nib (not Stipula's), probably a medium. This pen has never been used. $90
